Mr. Edmund Kealoha Parker was born on March 18, 1931 in Honolulu, Hawaii
10th degree black belt and founder of American Kenpo Karate.
Taught karate to many celebrities such as Steve McQueen, Elvis Presley, Lucille Ball, Natalie Wood, José Ferrer, Blake Edwards, and Jeff Speakman.
Opened first commercial karate school in 1954.
Created karate program at Brigham Young University (BYU).
